David Laird Campground

 

This is a fully serviced, well treed modern campground located between Highway 40 and Highway 16 just behind the Western Development Museum. There are 41 full serviced sites and 20 non serviced sites. A number of the serviced sites are pull through sites so that they can accommodate large trailers and RV's The campground is open from mid May to mid September, weather permitting.

The amenities at the campground include: an office and small store, 2 modern shower/washroom facilities, a trailer disposal dump, playground area, large outdoor barb-que and day picnic area, access to firewood and access to a trout pond (provincial fishing license required) beside the campground.

David Laird is located near the Western Development Museum and less than 2 km from City shopping areas and the Gold Eagle Casino. It is an ideal spot to be able to camp outside the City as still be in easy reach of City services.
