The North Battleford
Kinsmen Aquatic Centre is a year-round facility that provides a wide and
diverse range of programming for all people. The Aquatic Centre is proud
of it's anemities which include one of the hottest, steamiest, steamroom
in the province! In addition to the steamroom, the whirlpool is kept at
104 degrees, and is open during all general swim times. There is a llight
exercise room available which inclues a universal semi-recumbant exercise
bike, treadmill, nordic track ski machine, and an elliptical machine.
The main swimming pool is
25m, six lanes wide. It incorporates a large shallow area which starts at 2.5
ft. progressing to an 11' deep end. The deep end accomodates a 1 m diving board,
and a 25' tarzan rope. As well, we provide slides, toys, floating mats, and much,
much more to help make your swim as enjoyable as possible.
During select public swim
times, we feature either of our 3 major watertoys: an inflatable octopus, seasnake,
or the waterwalk! These features greatly enhance public swim sessions and are
truly a blast for all ages! For their own safety, we do recommend small children
and beginner swimmers to enjoy other facility features!
Please note: All children
under the age of 6 must be accompanied in the water with an adult.
